Today, the best AI answer was: “I don’t know.”

Sometimes the highest-quality AI answer is an honest limitation.

What I did today:

I gave the model a question that could not be answered from the available context. I tested whether it invented an answer or clearly explained the limitation.

What surprised me:

I had to intentionally define uncertainty as a passing behavior.

My QA takeaway:

1. A safe refusal can be higher quality than a confident hallucination.
2. Sometimes the highest-quality AI answer is an honest limitation.
